An Idea is Born
I have been an animal lover and artist all my life. Several years ago I found these little wooden boxes in a catalog and painted little pictures to go in them as Christmas gifts for friends. They were so popular that I decided to add them to my freelance line. I found the distributor, ordered hundreds and set to work.

Each Painting Is Unique
It takes me about two hours to lovingly do each one. Each little painting is unique. I have painted lots of little “mousies”, for example, but each one has it’s own personality. I paint in watercolors on 100% rag paper so these little paintings should last for a long, long time. But, as with any fine watercolor, please keep them away from direct sunlight. Each one is signed and dated on the back of the painting. I do lots of other animals and other subjects as well and am happy to do special orders and/or personalize a box with a child’s name for a small extra fee.

A Charming Gift
These boxes make charming gifts. They can be used to hold all kinds of things including: baby teeth and a lock of hair, jewelry, cufflinks, guitar picks, stamps, coins, buttons, golf tees and teabags! The 2”x3” box will hold business cards. As each sample is one of a kind, please call for availability.
