Carol Way Wood, noted children's book illustrator, offers classes for children ages 8-12 and 13-16

Each participant will receive their own sketchbook, drawing and painting materials. We will cover basic drawing of animals and then create distinctive characters from our sketches. Participants will be asked to draw outside of class. There will be some watercolor painting. There will be a break with refreshments midway through each class. Classes are limited to 5 students per session.

For ages 8-12
Tuition: $240 (includes materials and refreshments)

Session One - Tuesday mornings, 9-12 during July 2011
Session Two - Tuesday mornings, 9-12 during August 2011

For ages 13-16
Tuition: $240 (includes materials and refreshments)
Returning students who still have their materials will receive a 10% discount.

Class sizes are small and all are held in Carol's South Dartmouth studio - a quiet, safe learning environment perfect for nurturing growing artists of all ages.
